Jennifer’s trial practice focuses on defending construction defect, catastrophic personal injury, property damage and hospitality and retail claims.

On the construction side, Jennifer has substantial experience representing major California developers, general contractors and subcontractors in complex commercial and residential developments, including OCIP and CCIP projects. She has also defended insurers in contribution claims involving the construction industry.

In the hospitality and retail arena, Jennifer has defended slip and fall and other negligence claims, assault and battery, false imprisonment, and commercial motor vehicle cases, as well as cases involving serious injuries caused by the criminal acts of third parties and severe food poisoning claims.

Jennifer prosecutes and defends contractual indemnity and vendor endorsement and breach of contract claims arising out of retail and hospitality lease agreements. She has also defended trucking and marine accident claims, as well as product liability actions involving commercial equipment and hardware.

Jennifer has an active transactional and business litigation practice, representing companies in corporate and employment matters. She defends companies against employment and civil rights class action suits. As a litigator, she brings to bear her past experience as an officer and comptroller of a national financial services consulting firm and as a legal consultant for a Southern California gaming establishment.
