Phillip K. Short




Phillip K. Short is a member of the firm's litigation practice.

In law school, Phillip worked at The Notre Dame Tax Clinic, where he conducted legal research to support tax litigation positions and provide legal advice to clients, drafted litigation documents to submit to the U.S. Tax Court, and represented clients during negotiations with the IRS.

Phillip also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), within their Transfer Pricing Group. He provided transfer pricing compliance and planning services to multinational enterprises, conducted functional interviews, and performed in-depth industry research for a wide variety of clients and industries.
In addition, Phillip worked at Levy Restaurants. He reviewed contracts and leasing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and conducted audits to ensure compliance with various employment laws.

Further, Phillip worked at the DuPage County Public Defender’s Office. He researched statutes and case law, assisted with courtroom proceedings, and drafted various motions.

Prior to law school, Phillip served four years in the United States Marine Corps.
