Kevin started his career in West Virginia where he practiced civil and criminal defense law for 19 years. He is a past president and member of the Board of Governors for the West Virginia State Bar. He was also selected by Best Lawyers in America in insurance law and is a top 100 Honoree with the National Black Lawyers.
Kevin was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon and Vice President of Performances for Alpha Kappa Psi in college. He interned at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in Detroit, Michigan prosecuting forfeiture and domestic violence cases. He later worked as an assistant public defender in West Virginia with the Kanawha County Public Defender’s Office and the Raleigh County Public Defender’s Office. He has an L.L.M. in tax law.

Kevin concentrates his practice in litigation and casualty defense, including government liability, premise liability, product liability, and contract law.
