Cole M. Smith

Cole is member of our litigation team. He represents clients in civil disputes, providing counsel from pre-suit investigation through post-judgment proceedings.

Prior to joining the firm, Cole served for three years as claims litigation counsel for a Fortune 50 insurance company, where he defended third-party personal injury suits throughout Cook County, Illinois. In that role, Cole independently managed all phases of litigation—including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, arbitrations, and trial preparation. He has tried four juries as lead counsel and served as second chair in numerous trials in Cook County, Illinois.

Upon graduation from law school, Cole clerked for the Honorable Keith R. Truffer in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.
