David M. Albaugh

David is an experienced insurance coverage attorney. He represents domestic insurers and the London and Bermuda markets in high value, contested first-party property claims, including claims involving commercial property, product recall, warranty loss, and marine and cargo risks. David has represented clients in litigated coverage matters in state and federal courts throughout the US, as well as prosecuting recovery and subrogation claims on their behalf. David is skilled in building relationships and working collaboratively with industry leading subject-matter experts and loss adjusters during the claim investigation and adjustment process.

David also has extensive experience advising clients in complex coverage disputes involving commercial and general liability, builder’s liability, product liability, environmental contamination, warehouse liability, and commercial auto liability. He represents clients in reinsurance and excess claims working collaboratively with defense counsel involving mass tort litigation and catastrophic losses evaluating liability and damages.
